  Funeral Memorial Service: Who was this mystery man?

  last night,my wife and i went to my cousins funeral memorial service.it wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be.they had two video screens with pictures of my cousin from a baby to the end of his life.they stopped playing as soon as the service started and the screens were raised out of the way.. the family and close relatives arrived one hour earlier to find seats near the front rows and have a little family time.. there was a mystery man that was seated near the front with a tablet,a jw.org pin on his suit jacket and just sat there writing on his tablet the whole time without greeting anyone or even speaking.. does anyone know who this man could be?

  was he sent by the society to make sure everything went well?.

  There were 405 people in attendance.He was the only one withe the JW.ORG pin and didn't speak to anyone. STRANGE if you ask me!

  In this lecture here "Love Identifies the True Christian Congregation", a dynamic and wise Christian elder discusses the Gospel of John, Christian love and unity, the Book of Acts, 1st Corinthians, Philippians, the first-century true Christian Congregation, and the New Covenant witnesses of the Most High today. Real Biblical followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, in these end-times.

  This sermon is really informative, thought-provoking, inspiring, encouraging, motivating, invigorating, witty, articulate, wise, as well as very Biblical and very spiritual.

  Going into just what is the true identifying mark of real Biblical New Covenant Christians, especially in this "time of the end"..... John 13.34-35 answers that question.

  This Talk gives some good proof that the Christian group known as "Jehovah's Witnesses" are indeed the Lord's true witnesses, and are truly "NO PART OF THE WORLD", as the Lord commanded His true followers to be, and are bonded by Christian love and joy and faith, especially in these "last days".

  (at the time with lower case w) isn't it about time now they changed name again?

  Have we become what we despise so much?

  the majority of members who tend to join this forum have been hurt possibly even traumatized sometimes to the point of wanting to end their lives.

  upon joining the forum, new members are welcomed with open arms, welcome messages start pouring in, "likes" are freely given, a false sense of security is promoted where a member is free to speak his mind without having to worry about the wt gestapo.

  again, similar to how potential converts are welcomed and "love bombed" upon entering a kh for the first time.

  Tenacious : 4 months ago you wrote Today I attended a one-day assembly in my hometown. I knew when it came time to read the afternoon expenses that it would be an incredibly high and ridiculous amount that was nowhere near the real expenses for that day.
  From what I gather,you still attend.

  The respect and admiration for leaving or trying to leave the lion's den only to enter another hostile environment where some members are quick to bash and berate someone's belief can be equally disconcerting and psychologically damaging

  Tenacious: This is not a Kingdom Hall with Elders.

  We studied every book the Watchtower told us to study.

  We attended 3 meetings per week (coming home late from the midweek meetings and ruining our Sunday afternoons)

  We were told how many hours a month we should preach.

  We were told who to associate with.

  We were sent to 4 days assemblies in the middle of July, sitting in the blazing sun getting heat stroke

  We were told what to wear, how long our hair should be, not to play high school sports, not to join any after school activities, not to listen to hard rock music, who to date, etc. etc. etc.

  HERE IS A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN SPEAK YOUR MIND AND HAVE YOUR OWN THOUGHTS. ISN'T WONDERFUL NOT HAVING SOMEONE WATCH EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE AND WATCH WHAT YOU SAY!

  What would you like to see the Watchtower Society implement that would give you a dignified way to leave/stop being a Jehovah's Witness?

  jehovah's witnesses do not provide a dignified resignation process for members who wish to resign/quit being a jehovah's witnesses.you are not given any good choices.

  you can either: disassociate yourself,fade,become inactive or move to another city/state/country where you won't be bothered or found out.. if you quit your job/employment, stop attending a book club or bowling league,or quit a lawn service company, newspaper delivery service,you wouldn't see your employer or friends sending out a written notice to anyone to stop all association with you or have little contact.you would sue them for slander.you have a right to quit any association or contract (when it expires or doesn't meet the terms any longer) whenever you wish.. what would you like to see the watchtower society implement that would give you a dignified way to leave/stop being a jehovah's witness?.
